Abstract Nothing in the world is more simple and cheaper than making cities that provide better for people” Jan Gehl, founding partner of Gehl Architects, in an interview in 2013. For many years, the word smart has spread widely and became a trend in the world of city planning. All cities became smart according to the specifications which always continue to focus on technology and its different effects in cities and human. However, cities need ’another SMART’ to become smart cities especially, in the basic connection to the human being who is considered influential in the formation of cities by adding his fingerprint and vision in dealing with these cities. It is believed that the technological development in smart cities is the basis of the success of these cities, which are affected by different features that they have had a generation after generation. By 2050, the use of technology negatively will have affected the citizen in regard to their feelings, environments and the presence of technological diseases while believing that it serves him. This thesis focuses on the importance of finding a link between human and smart cities for the establishment of the fifth generation of smart cities 2050 with regard to the dimensions and composite indicators of a new vehicle to generate a new smart city. This adds concepts and reasons through theories, analysis and evaluation of the smart city that will work in light of the goal for planners of smart cities and decision makers.
