Abstract
Industrial wastewater represents the biggest problem facing treatment plants, and traditional methods of using physical or chemical methods that are used as traditional methods in treating industrial wastewater have alternatives that are less expensive and higher in return. On the other hand, treatment using electro-coagulation was one of the most important methods that were topped the treatment methods, which did not require any addition of chemicals to complete the treatment process. Studies began using aluminum electrode(Al)and iron electrode(Fe)connected to a constant current source, the preference to use aluminum plates was to give the highest removal efficiency, while examining the factors affecting the efficiency of treatment using electro-coagulation.
