Abstract This study was carried out on one hundred and forty one (141) cows, ten of them (10) were control owned by the clinic serve which have no clinical signs or history of diseases with normal physical and laboratory examination and one hundred and thirty one (131) cows admitted to the Veterinary Clinic at Faculty of Veterinary medicine, Zagazig University, these cows had cardiovascular and respiratory manifestations, Which were divided according to clinical and ultrasonographical findings into: Study 1: Eighty six cows with cardiac diseases. Study 2: Forty five cows with respiratory tract diseases. History and clinical examination of the cows in the first study revealed the following: The Cows were Friesian breed and their ages ranged from 2-7 years old. These cows were diagnosed and classified on the basis of ultrasonographic examination into cows with traumatic pericarditis (67) and (15) cows with non-traumatic pericarditis and (4) cows with endocarditis. |
