Now that Islamic sukuk has begun to penetrate the group of Eight (G8), the International Monetary Fund expects Islamic sukuk issuance to reach $3 trillion by 2015.
These numbers are considered fictional for investment formulas that are still in the process of formation, as they lack a lot of research, arrangement, coordination, and in-depth studies. They also need specialized cadres and Shariah supervisory boards that correct loopholes, introduce amendments, and closely monitor operations.
The Fiqh academies and the specialized financial institutions recommended intensifying research in this field and deepening the study in it.
