ثانيا : ملخص الدراسة باللغة الإنـجليزية
First: The problem of the study:
Human development works on the development of peoples in the light of building the capabilities of individuals that enable them to actively participate in the processes that contribute to shaping and improving their lives by using many methods and means as a resource approach that helps to satisfy needs and methods of human care.
Skin diseases are a chronic disease, as there are types of skin diseases that accompany the patient throughout life, and another type that takes a long time to recover.
Despite the fact that vitiligo does not extend beyond the skin in many cases, many sufferers suffer from the society’s view of them that leads to isolating those infected with the disease from their social surroundings due to the ignorance of most people of the nature and reality of the disease. It is difficult for a healthy person to estimate the extent of the impact of this problem. On its victims who may suffer psychological conditions such as anxiety and depression, and general practice is one of the most appropriate modern trends to deal with the problems facing patients with vitiligo, and through it, the focus is on all the related formats to help you use the available resources from facing these problems.
Therefore, the problem of the study is determined in the following: To what extent can the general practitioner social worker, through twinning with the profession’s values, principles, methods, methods, strategies and models, play a role in facing the disease, in order to reintegrate these patients back into their families and society in a good way.
Second: The importance of the study:
The importance of the study is the following:
1- The study contributes to enriching the theoretical aspect of the social work profession with regard to vitiligo patients and the social problems they face and how to mitigate them.
2- The noticeable increase in the number of vitiligo patients, as the World Health Organization has proven that vitiligo affects 1% of the population in any society, which is equivalent to one million people with vitiligo in the Egyptian society. 25:45 years of both sexes, whether male or female, and social work plays an important role in how to deal with vitiligo patients, satisfy their needs and solve their problems.
3- The negative effects of vitiligo, which lead to harm to the individual, family and society in general.
4- Vitiligo patients face many social problems, including the following: weak relationships with relatives and friends, lack of participation in social events, isolation, introversion, and difficulty in adapting to the disease. The social worker plays an important role in dealing with vitiligo patients and facing the problems they face.
5- Vitiligo has clearly worsened in the recent period on the scene as a result of the many psychological and social pressures.
6- Studying the social problems of the vitiligo patient necessarily contributes to real and honest information that is useful in providing social support and social support to him that would satisfy his needs.
Third: The objectives of the study:
The objectives of the study can be defined as follows:
1- Determine the causes of vitiligo.
2- Determining the social problems facing vitiligo patients.
3- Defining the roles of the social worker as a general practitioner in alleviating the social problems of vitiligo patients.
4- Determining the obstacles facing the social worker as a general practitioner during his course in dealing with the problems facing vitiligo patients.
5- Reaching for a proposed program from the perspective of general practice in social work to address the social problems facing vitiligo patients
Fourth: - Questions of the study.
The study questions are as follows:-
1. What are the causes of vitiligo?
2. What are the social problems that vitiligo patients face?
3. What are the roles played by the social worker as a general practitioner in alleviating the social problems facing vitiligo patients?
4. What are the obstacles that face the social worker while carrying out a course in dealing with the social problems facing vitiligo patients?
5. What are the necessary suggestions to confront the social problems of vitiligo patients?
Fifthly: - Concepts of the study:
The concepts of the study were defined in four basic concepts:
1- Social problems.
2- Vitiligo.
3- Genera practicel.
4- The role.
Sixth: Methodological procedures for the study:
1- Type of study:
This study belongs to the descriptive study.
2- The method used:
The researcher used the social survey method for the comprehensive good, both from (social workers and vitiligo patients).
3- Study tools:
The researcher used:
A- A questionnaire for social workers at Assiut University Hospital.
B- A questionnaire for patients with vitiligo in the hospital.
4- Fields of study:
A- Spatial domain:
The field study was applied to vitiligo patients in Assiut University Hospital.
b- Human domain:
A comprehensive inventory of (20) social workers working in Assiut University Hospital.
A comprehensive inventory of (80) patients with vitiligo in the hospital.
c- temporal domain:
It is the period of data collection and analysis, from July 5, 2021 AD to August 20, 2021 AD.
Seventh: The statistical methods used:
The researcher used a set of statistical methods that are consistent with the nature of the current study and are determined in the following:
1- Repetitions.
2- Percentages.
3- Arithmetic mean.
4- Calculate the weighted average.
5- Calculate the sum of the weights.
6- Calculation of relative strength.
7- Asperman’s equation for calculating the stability coefficient.
Eighth: General results of the study:
1. The results of the consistency study that the social worker deals with in facing the problems facing vitiligo patients with relative strength (79.05%)
2. The results of the study on the strategies that the social worker deals with with relative strength (77.4%).
3. The results of the study on the professional skills used by the general practitioner social worker in dealing with vitiligo with a relative strength (82.8%).
4. The results of the study on the professional methods used by the general practitioner social worker in dealing with vitiligo patients. The results of this study came with a relative strength (55.4%).
5. The results of the study on the roles played by the social worker with vitiligo patients, and came with relative strength (92,30).
6. The results of the study on the obstacles that hinder the role of the social worker with vitiligo patients, and the results of this study came with relative strength (64.1).
7. The results of the study related to the proposals needed to overcome the obstacles associated with vitiligo, and the results of this study came with relative strength (97.4).
8. The results of the study on the social problems that vitiligo patients suffer from, and came with relative strength (73.7).
9. The results of the study on the psychological problems suffered by vitiligo patients, and came with relative strength (75.3).
10. The results of the study on the economic problems that vitiligo patients suffer from, and came with a relative strength (71.4).
