Abstract Energy in all its forms is the main motive of our daily life, and there is no doubt that, heat liberated from combustion is one of the most important forms of energies in our world and perhaps the most important at all. Therefore, the study of combustion, its characteristics and its impact on the surrounding environment, is necessary to reduce the negative effects resulting from it that affect the climate and living organisms in general. Many applications and fields that depend on combustion, such as factories, boilers and turbines, seek to obtain the highest efficiency of combustion by increasing temperatures, which results in an increase in nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions. Therefore, improving the efficiency of combustion devices is one of the main issues to reduce fuel consumption and reduce carbon monoxide emissions. |
