Abstract

Atrial fibrillation is an irregular and often rapid heart rate that can increase the risk of stroke, heart failure and other heart-related complications. AF can give a wide variety of symptoms such as general fatigue, rapid and irregular heartbeat, dizziness, shortness of breath, anxiety, weakness, faintness or confusion, decreased exercise tolerance, sweating and chest pain.
