Abstract This study aimed at investigating the effectiveness of the integrated approach in developing English writing skills among commercial school students. The sample included 40 commercial secondary school students who were studying English as a foreign language at Centrees Commercial School in Ashmoun. They were divided into two groups, the experimental group (n=20) and the control group (n=20). They were pre-post tested using the same instruments which are an achievement test and another test based on the integrated approach. The experimental group used sessions based on the integrated approach while the control group received regular teaching. Pre-posttest design was used for the two groups, results of the study revealed that: The EFL writing skills of the sample are more developed and their writing was decreased as a result of teaching through the program. This confirmed that the effectiveness of the integrated approach in developing EFL writing skills among commercial schools.
