المستخلص The study aimed to know the role played by the Department of public relations to build and enhance social capital between employees of government and private companies and the relationship to the quality of performance, and this study belongs to descriptive studies, and the researcher adopted the survey approach, and the study was applied to a number of government and private companies, were selected randomly by 400: The existence of an independent public relations department in the companies under study, and its follow-up to senior management, and this reflects the importance of Public Relations for these companies and the interest of senior management. There are statistically significant differences between the dimensions of social capital and the quality of performance of the companies under study. There are also statistically significant differences between the variable number of years of work in the company ”experience” and the promotion of social capital in the companies studied. There are no statistically significant differences between gender, age, educational qualification and the promotion of social capital in the companies in question. |
