Abstract The present study was carried out in the Rice Research and Training Center (RRTC), Agriculture Research Center (ARC), Egypt during the two successive seasons 2017 and 2018. The field experiments were done at two locations, the first location, at Sakha Agricultural Research Station, Kafr EL-Sheikh Governorate (non-stress) and the second location at EL-Kharga Agricultural Research Station, New Valley Governorate (heat stress conditions). The most preferred mean values under non-stress conditions for growth traits were obtained from Giza 177, Giza 178, Giza179, Sakha107, Sakha108, and IET 1444. The yield and its components are from Giza 178, Giza179, Sakha107, Sakha108 and Sk 2046H. The most preferred mean values under heat stress conditions for growth traits were obtained from Giza 178, Giza179, Sakha107 and IET 1444. The yield and its components are from Giza 178, Giza179 and IET 1444. Generally, the results indicated that some genotypes performed better than the others under stress conditions. Also, the genotypes of taxon performance across two environments, Giza 178, Giza 179 and IET1444 gave the best desired values over normal and heat stress conditions, so it can be considered a promising donor under normal and heat stress conditions. |
