Abstract In this thesis, an authentication model called Behavio2Auth has been designed and evaluated in order to verify the identity of the smartphone user by leveraging the accelerometer sensory data. These data represent behavioral biometric traits of the user{u2019}s finger moves on the touchscreen. Authentication is done continuously and implicitly. This approach handles the existing security and usability challenges in the traditional authentication mechanisms such as frequent unlocking requests that make the user get annoyed |
