Abstract The current study was a nested case control analytical study conducted over a period of 10 months. Total number of the participants was 96 divided into 4 equal groups. The aim of our results was to assess seminal Calbindin 2 expression in men with varicocele. We found that age mean shows a significant statistical difference as the Infertile OAT Without Vx men show the highest mean between the studied groups. There was a significant statistical difference between the studied groups regarding sperm concentration; sperm total motility, sperm normal form and seminal calbidine 2 as Infertile OAT with Vx group show the lowest means between the studied groups. We found that there was a statistical significant difference regarding Sperm concentration level & seminal calbidine2 which mean Sperm concentration level have an effect on seminal calbidine2. Also, there is a significant statistical deference regarding Sperm total motility (%), Sperm normal forms (%) and Seminal calb2 (ng/ml) in compare to varicocele degree as the mean lower in grade III. The Correlation between investigated data and Calb2 seminal Level showed that there was a negative non significant correlation between age and seminal calb2 (ng/ml) level and statistical significant difference with positive correlation between Sperm concentration (106/ml) and Sperm normal forms (%) in correlate to Seminal calb2 (ng/ml). |
