Abstract This cross-section study was performed in the period from November 2020 to January 2022, with 38 lesions included to evaluate the accuracy of MRI in diagnosis patients with PLC trauma of the knee in correlation with clinical or operative findings as gold standard. MRI show significant excellent agreement as area under Curve (AUC) was 0.82 for LCL and 0.83 for PT (P<0.001), Also it is good negative test as it had 55% sensitivity of LCL and 67% sensitivity of PT and 100% specificity in diagnosis in comparable to operative findings with overall accuracy was 74% with negative predictive value 61.5% for LCL and 87 % for PT. There was good agreement of MRI with the surgical findings of PLC injury with Kappa degree was 0.50 for LCL and 0.73 PT (P<0.001. |
