Abstract
This thesis is concerned with the quantitative determination of some drugs containing heterocyclic rings; namely, Dothiepin HCl(DTP), Imidocarb dipropionate(IMD). In this work, we attempted to study the stability of IMD and DTP under different stress conditions and elucidate their possible degradation products.Then different analytical techniques have been established for the quantitative determination of the studied intact drugs in bulk powder, in pharmaceutical formulations, and in the presence of their degradation products with high accuracy, precision and appropriate degree of sensitivity. Additionally; DTP was determined in presence of its co-administered drug Diazepam(DZP).This thesis contains three parts in addition to references, summaries in English and Arabic.Part I: General introduction.Part II: Different approaches for determination of Dothiepin HCl either single, in presence of its induced degradation products or in combination with its co- administered drug Diazepam.Part III: Different techniques for determination of Imidocarb dipropionate either single or in presence of its induced degradation products
