Abstract
Different methods were introduced for the determination of some drugs affecting serotonin receptors in bulk material and dosage forms in this thesis.These drugs are ondansetron, dapoxetine, sumatriptan, rizatriptan, zolmitriptan and naratriptan.Chromatographic part includes the simultaneous determination of ondansetron on its binary mixtures with rapeprazole and pantoprazole, simultaneous determination of dapoxetine in its binary mixtures with tadalafil, vardenafil and avanafil and simultaneous determination of sumatriptan, zolmitriptan, rizatriptan and naratriptan by HPLC.TLC-densitometric method was developed for the simultaneous determination of ondansetron in its binary mixtures with rapeprazole and pantoprazole.Chemometric-assisted UV spectrophotometric methods include simultaneous determination of ondansetron with rapeprazole and ondansetron with esomeprazole was carried out.Artificial neural network technique was developed for the simultaneous spectrophotometric determination of ondansetron with rapeprazole and ondansetron with esomeprazole.Statistical comparison between the results obtained by the proposed methods and reference or reported methods was carried out
