Abstract

Monitoring and understanding of the Earth radiation budget are essential for improving our information of the Earth climate and probable climate change. The surface radiation flux is an important portion of the energy transmission between the atmosphere and the land or ocean surface and consequently affects temperature fields, atmosphere and oceanic flows. The net surface radiation controls the energy and water variation within the biosphere and the atmosphere and has a major influence on Earth weather and climate. Earth climate is well-defined by the movements of energy in and out of the planet and to atmosphere from earth surface. Differences to the surface energy stability also ultimately restrain how this hydraulic cycle links to the small energy differences that force climate change. Short wave radiation is the energy source of the earth. It acts as a main position in the parts of climatology, hydrology, farming, and even climate change. Net surface radiation is the powerful energy for the surface energy equilibrium and the conveyance and transmission of all resources at the interface between the surface and the atmosphere, the net surface shortwave (SW) radiation meaningfully adjusts the climate forming and the change of climate. The area of the kingdom of Morocco about 710,000 square kilometers which extending between longitude 170 W and longitude 10 W and from latitude 210 N to lat 360 N. Morocco borders Algeria to the east and southeast, Mauritania to the south, the Atlantic Ocean to the west, and the Mediterranean Sea to the north. It is the only African country with coastal exposure to both the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea as shown in the following figure. Morocco, mountainous country of western North Africa that lies directly across the Strait of Gibraltar from Spain. The main objectives of this thesis are Analyze the observational data of solar radiation over Morocco. Using regional climate model to analyze the present and near future solar radiation components such as shortwave radiation and cloud cover.Assess the impact of climate change on net solar radiation of Morocco using RCP4.5 and RCP8.5 scenarios
