Abstract
Background: The burden of mortality and disability from diabetes is growing rapidly, different approaches should be used with diabetic patients to ensure better clinical outcome, lower complications and better quality of life, especially the patient centered approach with emphasis on patient{u2019}s empowerment and satisfaction which are linked to better clinical outcomes , higher compliance and subsequently lesser complications . Aim: evaluate the effects of patients’ empowerment versus traditional health education on satisfaction of diabetic patients
