The study aimed to examine the relationship between metacognition and creativity, and to reveal the possibility of predicting creativity through the dimensions of metacognition skills, The study sample consisted of (250) university students (77 males, 173 females), from Ain Shams University students, their ages ranged from ( 18-25) years, with an average age (M= 20.20), a standard deviation (SD= 1.42), and the study tools included a scale of metacognition (prepared by the researcher), and a scale of creativity (prepared by the researcher), The results of the study showed that there was a statistically significant correlation between the scores of the sample members on the Metacognition Scale and their scores on the Creativity Scale, There are no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the sample members on the dimensions and the total score for the Metacognition Scale according to gender (males/ females), There are no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the sample members on the dimensions and the total score of the Metacognition Scale according to the specialization (scientific/ literary), There are no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the sample members on the dimensions and the total score of creativity scale according to gender (males/ females), There are no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the sample members on the dimensions and the total score of creativity scale according to specialization (scientific/ literary), The scores of the sample members on the dimensions and the overall score of the creativity scale can be predicted through their scores on the metacognition scale
