Three to five years are necessary for a secure and durable desensitisation. A desensitisation is absolutelyrecommended. Compared to other bee venom allergic persons beekeepers had a better desensitization success. Older allergic persons are especially endangered towards bee stings and should absolutely bedesensitised.
