Abstract
The work within this thesis is divided into three chapters: Introduction which gives a short account about zinc and phosphate pollution within wastewater, and different techniques of removal; Experimental which includes the experimental part of the thesis, work; Results and Discussions which discuss the Synthesis of salicylaldehyde ionic liquids (Sal-ILs), Synthesis of PESSO3H and CE-PESSO3H, Zn2+ adsorption by CE and CE-PESSO3H, PO43- adsorption by CE and CE-PESSO3H, Water quality criteria in wastewater sample before and after Zn2+ and PO43-treatments by CE and CE-PESSO3H at their optimal conditions were studied. Besides, 105 references are used in the present work.
