Abstract Since the last decade of the twentieth century, museum has been forced by the pressure of change to switch practices and outlook to transform museum visitors from passive consumers in a collection focused {u2018}static exhibition{u2019} to active participants in a visitor centered {u2018}interactive technology exhibition{u2019}. This is for enhancing the museum visitor{u2019}s experience of the exhibits collection each time they visit and revisit the museum by providing a wide range of activities, programs and technologies that reinforce the communication of the museum exhibits core message. The literature review scenario address the main aim of this thesis, which is to model a framework for museum exhibition design that can be used as a prototype evaluation tool. The latter is achieved throughout analyzing the interrelationships between museum visitors learning identities and their museum experiences and what are the display techniques that can be used to increase museum visitors{u2019} social interaction with the museum environment and how each technique will affect the visitor{u2019}s learning behavior and the nature of museum visitor experience in a digitally responsive interactive exhibition |
