Abstract
This research focus on how to enhance healthcare performance by using an integrated system in one of Healthcare insurance organization{u2019}s hospital by several steps start with define the problem in the hospital under study by using Key performance Indicators and occurrence variance reports then we have to analyze the collected data to decide which process or place should be improved. We used the integrated system to repair the deviations in one of Key performance Indicators by improving or adding some process in the system, we have to share the current situation and our goals for top management and head of clinical departments to apply the improved system. We also improved environment work place by using 5 S{u2019}s technique. This research consists of seven chapters: Chapter 1: Introduction: Introduced our research, problem definition, the goals of our study and literature review to begin explain the components of an integrated system. Chapter 2: Key performance Indicators: In this chapter we explained what is Key Performance Indicators in general and in details for healthcare, it was one of components used in an integrated system to define the problem in current situation. Chapter 3: Occurrence variance reports): it{u2019}s the second component of an integrated system which defined the problem in work place, we explain what is OVR, the categories, classification and the stages of OVR. Chapter 4: Enhancement performance techniques: We introduced the techniques used in the application of our case study, it{u2019}s include many techniques. Chapter 5: Monitoring and evaluation system: In this chapter we discussed what is the monitor and evaluation and their types, we introduced the international accreditation in brief and Egyptian accreditation in details which is applied their standards in the hospital under study
