Abstract As there are no previous studies comparing the Vibringe system with other irrigation techniques under clinical settings, in this regard, this clinical study was conducted to clinically compare the incidence of postoperative pain after the use of the Vibringe sonic irrigation system or conventional irrigation with needles during root canal treatment in single-rooted teeth in a randomized controlled trial. Eighteen patients with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis in single rooted teeth underwent one-visit root canal treatment, Root canals were prepared using 2Revo S3 rotary system then randomized into two equal gropus according to the irrigation technique used during instrumentation, group (A) Vibringe® system irrigation & group (B) Conventional needle irrigation .The needles of irrigation were penetrated 2 mm shorter than the working length. The trial design of this study is a Parallel randomized controlled trial. All demographic data, clinical and radiographic findings and NRS scores obtained from patients were statistically analyzed. Results showed that there was no statistically difference between the two groups regarding the demographic data, prevalence of post-operative pain after 6 hours, 12 hours, 24 hours and 48 hours |
