Abstract Different methods for the determination of some cardiovascular drugs, in bulk and dosage forms have been introduced in this thesis. These drugs are dabigatran etexilate mesylate, clopidogrel bisulfate, atorvastatin calcium and aspirin. chromatographic part includes HPLC determination of dabigatran etexilate mesylate in presence of degradation product A and another method for determination of dabigatran etexilate mesylate in presence of degradation products B and C and simultaneous determination of mixture of clopidogrel bisulfate, atorvastatin calcium and aspirin in presence of salicylic acid degradation product.TLC-densitometric method for determination of dabigatran etexilate mesylate in presence of degradation products A, B and C and simultaneous determination of clopidogrel bisulfate, atorvastatin calcium and aspirin in presence of salicylic acid degradation product has also been described. Chemometric techniques includes determination of dabigatran etexilate mesylate in presence of degradation product A, B and C using PCR and PLS chemometric methods. Different Spectrophotometric methods for the determination of dabigatran etexilate mesylate in presence of degradation products A, B, C, D and E by ratio difference method, mean centering ratio method and First derivative ratio method have been described. Also, spectroscopic part includes native spectrofluorimetric determination of dabigatran etexilate mesylate. Statistical comparison between the results obtained by the proposed methods and reference methods was carried out |
