Abstract
The present thesis is a CFD study to thermal comfort in an outdoor plaza located in Egypt. The thesis is divided into two parts: The first part a CFD study focused on measuring the thermal comfort of a group of people utilizing the open air food court of a plaza due to natural vertilation using ANSYS 16 software. The second part is a CFD study that investigates the effect of utilizing radiane cooling on the thermal comfort on the same group of people using ANSYS 16 software. The study shows that using radiant cooling has a significant positive effect on thermal comfort outdoor
