The study concluded to a number of results as following:
1. The study revealed that the ownership of newspapers had an impact on what is published of events, and most importantly how it is published, that is, the angle through which the event is presented, what is published, and what is deleted. What is meant here is not national, private or partisan ownership, but rather within Each style also, for the politics of Al-Masry Al-Youm differs from the Seventh Day and the Constitution.
2. The study concluded that the first era is the most abundant in the presence of press articles affiliated with official sources compared to the other second and third eras, which made that era more inclined to the official point of view and to present the events of the October War within the limits of the imposed political vision at the time. For the second and third eras, they relied on Various military sources, as well as historical sources, which made for a rapid flow of information.
3. The study revealed that the Egyptian newspapers did not achieve balance in publishing events, and the balance was not achieved over the three eras. The newspapers were the only newspapers without the other to publish some events about the October War according to the type of ownership, funding and competence of the journalists, and the study agreed with the propaganda model, in terms of There is a correlation between the media’s handling of issues and the dominant political forces, and the researcher concluded that the influence of the five selected candidates for the propaganda model, or one of them, is a major reason for the absence of balance and the occurrence of bias, as discussions shrink.
