Abstract This thesis comprises five parts describing the literature review, the experimental work, the references and an Arabic summary. PART I: General introduction. PART II: Spectrophotometric methods for determination of drugs in mixtures, this part is divided into two sections, section A: Spectrophotometric methods for determination of tetramethrin and piperonyl butoxide in binary mixture. This section is subdivided into five subsections including bivariate, mean centring of ratio spectra, derivative ratio, ratio difference and H-point standard additions spectrophotometric methods, section B: Novel dual wavelength in ratio spectra spectrophotometric method for determination of caffeine, propyphenazone and paracetamol in ternary mixture. Part III: Chemometric methods: applying the principal component regression and Partial Least Squares (PLS) models for the determination of a ternary mixture containing caffeine, propyphenazone and paracetamol using six different data manipulation methods. Part {u2163}: chromatographic methods, this part is divided into two sections, section A: Stability indicating chromatographic methods for determination of rafoxnide in presence of its degradation products. This section is subdivided into two subsections including UPLC and TLC methods, section B: Stability indicating chromatographic methods for determination of sitagliptin in presence of its degradation products. This section is subdivided into two subsections including HPLC and TLC methods. Part V: Stability indicating potentiometric method for determination of sitagliptin |
