Abstract This study included fifty {u2013} eight patients (58 patients), 44 patients had pathologically proven cervical cancer, 8 patients had endometrial cancer, 3 patients had benign lesions, 2 patients had Mixed Mullerian Tumor and 1 had endometrial stromal sarcoma. We are aimed to evaluate the efficacy and the added value of the contrast enhanced MRI pelvis and quantitative diffusion weighted imaging with ADC mapping in conjunct to conventional pelvic MRI sequences in detection and proper staging of uterine corpus and cervical malignant conditions. The DWI was obtained with 3 b values including 0, 300 and 600 mm/sec. The Apparent Diffusion Coefficient (ADC) was generated by measuring identical images at different b-values and represented as ADC map from which ADC value was calculated |
