Abstract
Nowadays there are a lot of services provided by cloud service providers, these services are a result of rapidly increasing number of cloud services users including the social networks. This requires indeed increasing in provided resources and services to fit the user{u2019}s requirements, in addition to the lack in variety of the provided services. Social networks users now have their own requirements. These requirements are based on the type of social network, so a wrong selection of cloud service provider could leads to massive waste in resources, money and the entire business. from here, the issue of matching between the right cloud service providers and social networks users is rising up, also there are no enough tips, models, classifications and resources to help the users in picking the service providers which fit the user requirements. In this thesis, new model for social cloud quality of service QoS was constructed, taking in concern the characteristics and features of social networks. This model is used to construct a framework for enhancing the service provisioning using the social networks, which aims to achieve the following: Improving resource utilization, this is achieved by reducing over provisioning. Minimizing the ranking zone, to increase the accuracy of results. In orders to achieve the objectives above, two approaches were used. The first approach is analytic hierarchy process {u2018}AHP{u2019} based on decision making, that allows the user to provide her/his preference of QoS attributes. The second approach applies two similarity functions cosine and pearson based on information retrieval to find out the most similar service provider to user input request
