المستخلص The sport of Squash depends mainly on the balance between both the physical and mental performances, especially during the used tactical strikes. That is to say, in Squash, performance depends on the player’s focus, so that he/she could attain the best possible performance and accomplish the highest achievement. Thus, if the two competitors are equal in their skills and mastering the strikes, good planning will be considered as the supportive and decisive factor regarding the superiority of either competitor over the other. In this regard, the purpose of Tactical Performance is to execute the different skills in the required speed and the proper timing, in addition to the competitor’s ability to take the proper action in accordance with the game’s circumstances and situations which keep on changing every minute during the game. Furthermore, the Tactical Performance aims to attain the optimal use of the competitor’s mental abilities, represented in the objective observation, paying attention to the various situations such as the anticipation during the game, the adequacy of the spatial perception including the court’s area and spaces, the good temporal perception represented in the time’s competitiveness, realizing the other competitor’s speed, as well as mastering the different game plans. Therefore, this current study aims to developing the Tactical Performance of the Finishing Strike for the most common point in Squash. In this context, the researcher has used the ’Descriptive Approach’ using the Survey Method, as well as the ’Experimental Approach’ over one group of 20 players representing the age stage of less than 15 years old. In addition, the researcher has also used all necessary tools and means in order to achieve the research’s objective. Thus, the most important results have indicated that there are statistically significant differences in favor of the post-measurements in all of the tactical situations under consideration. Hence, the researcher recommends benefiting from the tactical situations of the finishing strikes regarding the most common point for Squash players under the age of 15 years old, in addition to the necessity of developing the Tactical Performance during the training season. |
