Abstract Two field experiments were carried out at the Faculty of Agriculture, Kafrelsheikh University, during the 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 seasons to study the response of two wheat cultivars (Misr2 and Gimaza11) to foliar spraying with different concentrations of nono fertilizer (0.5 g and 0.75 g lithovit carbon /L and water as a control) under three nitrogen fertilizer ( 45, 60 and 75 kg N/fad) on yield and yield components and grain quality. Increasing nitrogen rate from 45 to 75 kg N per feddan resulted in a significant increase in flag leaf area, leaf area index (LAI) and dry matter accumulation (g/m2), crop growth rate, plant height, number of spikes/m2, number of grains/spike, 1000- grain weight, straw yield, and grain yield per feddan, protein content in grain, seed germination %, radical length, plumule length and seedling dry weight. Foliar spraying with a solution of the nano-fertilizer lithovit at the rate of 0.5g/L resulted in a significant increase in all the mentioned traits. It can be concluded that the application of 60 kg N/feddan and foliar spraying with a solution of the nano-fertilizer lithovit at the rate of 0.5g/L practically produced grain yield equal to the application of the recommended nitrogen rate (75 kg N/feddan) in grain yield. Application of 75 kg N/feddan and foliar spraying with a solution of the nano-fertilizer lithovit at the rate of 0.5g/L could be recommended for optimum grain yield per feddan under the same conditions. |
