Abstract The present study is a prospective descriptive study was conducted in Kasr El Aini University Hospitals and Al Mansoura university hospitals and Mansoura International hospital (Mansoura new general hospital) in 25 patients with Haglund’s disease , the patient were allocated for treatment by endoscopic calcaneoplasty All patients experienced symptoms for the mean of More than 6 months prior to the operation. The presence of Haglund’s syndrome will be diagnosed by the clinical symptoms, physical examination, plain radiographs, and magnetic resonance arthrography (MRI). Methodology : Prior to any operative measurements, patients will be asked to complete an ankle-hindfoot questionnaire, which was developed by the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS) as a standard method to assess the clinical status of ankle-hindfoot . The same questionnaires will be repeated at discharge then at 3months, 6 months of follow up. The endoscopic procedure will be performed with the patient in the prone position under lumbar. A tourniquet will be applied at the thigh. The affected foot will be positioned over the distal border of the operation table |
