Abstract Based on results and the statistical analysis of the present Randomized Control Trail Study it has been concluded that: • ARP using xenograft (Bio-Oss®) and Collagen Plug (Collacone®) done after extraction of Maxillary Posterior Teeth in the Study group seemed to reduce the Maxillary Sinus Pneumatization compared to unassisted socket healing in the Control Group. • ARP using xenograft (Bio-Oss®) and Collagen Plug (Collacone®) done after extraction of Maxillary Posterior Teeth in the Study group have decreased the Crestal Bone Resorption in comparison to unassisted socket healing in the Control Group. • ARP using xenograft (Bio-Oss®) and Collagen Plug (Collacone®) done after extraction of Maxillary Posterior Teeth in the Study group maintained more Residual Bone Height in comparison to unassisted socket healing in the Control group which could decrease the necessity of advanced regenerative procedures prior to dental implant placement. • The effect of the ARP in reducing the resorption of the Crestal Bone and maintenance of the Residual Bone Height was more efficient than its effect in reducing the Maxillary Sinus Pneumatization. |
