Abstract This prospective study was performed to evaluate the benefit of NAC in HR large T1b NMIBC patients attending to the Clinical Oncology Department and Oncologic Urology Unit at Assuit University Hospital during 4 years period between 2019-2022. We identified 33 patients with mean age of 62 years. There were 29 males (87.9%) and 4 females (12.1%) with the predominance of smoking as the main risk factor (81.8%). The majority of patients presented with burning micturation (45.5%). As regard pathology TCC was the most common subtype in 25 patients (75.8%). As regard clinical response and survival. Two-year DFS was 76%, and the OS was 79%. CR was seen at first follow up in 27 (82%) of the patients, and DP to MIBC was seen in 6 (18%) of the patients. |
