Abstract
Radiopharmaceuticals are a heterogeneous class of medicinal products characterized by the fact that they contain one or more radioactive isotopes. Those radioisotopes decay spontaneously under emission of ionizing radiation that is used for diagnose and/or treat human disease. This thesis presents studies on developing new radiopharmaceuticals containing beta adrenergic receptor agents. Those radiopharmaceuticals will be evaluated as molecular imaging agents for heart and lung scanning. This thesis includes a general introduction and two chapters: the first one is The Labeling and Quality Control of Three Ý-Adrenergic Receptor Drugs With Radioactive Iodine and the second one is The Biological Evaluation of Iodo-labeled Compounds
