Abstract

Posterior fossa tumors are more common in children, about 15-20% of brain tumors in adults arise in the posterior fossa. There are no well-established causes for posterior fossa tumors exist. Posterior fossa tumours can be evaluated radio-logically by: computerized tomography (CT), magnetic resonance image (MRI) and cerebral angiography. Management of posterior fossa tumours comprises two pathways: Direct attack of the tumour, or primary management of associated hydrocephalus followed by surgical attack of tumour
