Abstract
Wind energy has become one the subjects of much recent research and development all over the world . Interconnection of wind farms into power grids especially weak grids brings voltage stability problems during grid - side disturbances . This paper studies the voltage stability of a large doubly - fed induction generator (DFIG) based wind farmconnected to a modified IEEE 14 bus network during system disturbances such as load change , three-phase fault, or voltage swell/sag.
