Abstract Digital watermarking is widely used in data copyright protection, and is categorized according to the need of the original host media in the watermark recovery operation into two types: Non-blind needs it, and Blind doesn{u2019}t need it. Sending this original host media besides the watermarked host media causes an overhead over the system resources like memory/storage in both the sender and the receiver, and bandwidth in the communications channel.
