Abstract Gamma rays spectroscopy is a very important factor and must be determined with high accuracy. For an example: nuclear structure study, identification of radioisotopes and their intensities and activities, estimating the absorbed doses and determination of interaction cross sections where gamma-rays is either incident or out going from the reaction. Therefore the gamma-ray radiation have a wide spread range of applications in different science fields, scientists developed a wide variety of uses for this natural force. Today, radiation is used in medicine, industry and academics, as well as for electricity generation. In addition, radiations have useful applications in such fields as archaeology, agriculture, (carbon dating), exploration of space, law enforcement, geology (including mining), and many others. |
