Abstract
Diabetes mellitus is one of the world’s most severe health challenges. A significant complication of DM is diabetic foot ulceration. Diabetic foot ulcers (DFU) contribute significantly to the morbidity and mortality of patients with diabetes mellitus. It results from many risk factors such as long duration of diabetes10 years, poor glycemic control, older age, peripheral vasculopathy and poor knowledge of foot self-care.
