Abstract Two lysimeter experiments were conducted at Sakha Agricultural Research Station during the two winter seasons 2018/2019 and 2019/2020 to study the effect of three types of compost (Rice straw compost, House holding waste and poultry manure) on some soil characteristics of three soil types (clay, calcareous and sandy) and wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) productivity also, study the effect of granstar and polymer herbicides on wheat yield. The obtained results could be summarized as follow: 1. Application of different compost types slightly decreased soil PH and hence increased soil elemental availability. PM compost was the most effective organic compost. 2. Organic composts application led to decrease soil EC due to improve soil structure, water holding capacities and drainage conditions. |
