Abstract N eoadjuvant chemotherapy is associated with higher pathological complete response, but overall pathological complete response is similar with both groups of HER2 low and HER2 negative in hormonal positive breast cancer patients. In the present study, many prognostic factors impacted pathological response as Ki67 score, family history of breast cancer. Our results suggest that there are associations between HER2 expression and hormone receptor expression and ductal tumor histological status but are only slight differences in response to prognosis and treatment. Further improvements are needed in molecular stratification of HER2 expression to understand the clinical significance of HER2-low breast cancer and identify patients who can benefit from novel therapies. |
