Abstract

The first paper includes four parts, the first of which deals with an introduction to isocyanide-based multicomponent reactions (IMCR) and their biological activity in treating cancer cells through apoptosis induction. Our main isocyanide component is called ethyl 4-isocyanobenzoate. One-pot combinations of carboxylic acid, ketone, and isocyanide were discovered by Passerini affording α-acyloxy carboxamide.
