Abstract

Smooth muscle tumors that develop from the myometrium are known as uterine leiomyomas (fibroids). They are the most prevalent types of benign uterine tumors and are typically rounded, well-circumscribed lumps. They are often numerous and can range in size from a few millimeters to huge growths that are at least 20 centimeters in diameter.
Based on the type of investigation, the technique of diagnosis, and the racial/ethnic demography of the population studied, the prevalence of fibroids varies between studies and nations (4.5%-68.6%). The incidence of uterine fibroid in African–American 35-year-old females is 60%, rising to >80% in the 50-year-old females, while Caucasian 35-year-old females show an incidence of about 40%, rising to 70% in the 50-year-old females.
Other risk factors include delayed conception, early menarche, late menopause, low parity (unequal effect of estrogen), coffee, genetic changes, and others, such obesity and a diet high in red meat..
Leiomyosarcoma (LMS) is rare. The incidence of uterine LMS per
One hundred thousand women reported varies between 0.36 and 0.64. It is, nevertheless, the most typical uterine sarcoma. Regardless of presenting stage, LMS is an aggressive tumor with a high risk of recurrence and death in comparison to other uterine malignancies
The current study’s objective is to analyze how ultrasound can be used to differentiate between the different pathological entities of smooth muscle tumors in order to
