Abstract Liver cirrhosis is the end stage for a variety of liver diseases and is characterized by tissue fibrosis and the conversion of normal liver architecture into structurally abnormal nodules. 25%–50% of cirrhotic patientssuffering from acute kidney injury, and most of them may display poor consequences. Hepatorenal syndrome accounting for 11% to 20% of all causes of Acute kidney injury. Hepatorenal syndrome (HRS) has the worst prognosis because it arises during severe portal hypertension and circulatory dysfunction. The diagnosis of HRS is one of exclusion. |
