Abstract
Minimally invasive spine surgery has been developing steadily over the past years. Minimally invasive surgery is expected to provide the same results as conventional surgery, but with less morbidity. Spinal fractures may also be caused by bone insufficiency. For example, people with osteoporosis, tumors, or other underlying conditions. Vertebroplasty stabilizes the fracture and prevents further height loss without height restoration in the fractured vertebral body.
