Abstract

Endo-crown has advantage of being minimally invasive preparation achieving maximum tissue conservation; however, insufficient clinical and radiographic data is available for hybrid ceramic endo-crowns made by different impression techniques. The aim of this clinical study was the clinical and cone beam (CBCT) radiographic evaluation of the marginal and internal adaptation of endo-crown restorations fabricated by different impression techniques. Materials and methods: 20 Patients with endodontically treated lower first molars were selected.2 mm occlusal reduction (butt joint), axial preparation with 7-degree total occlusal divergence and 3 mm pulpal floor depth that covered with flowable composite resin were made to all teeth. Specimens were randomly divided into two groups; conventional (group1) and digital (group2). After one week of cementation, internal adaptation evaluation was performed using (CBCT). Modified USPHS criteria were evaluated at baseline, 6 months and 1year. Data was collected, tabulated and statistically analyzed using independent t- test and Chi-square test.
