Abstract This study aimed to investigate the effects of Co/Cu ratio on the physical properties of Eu ion doped spinel nano-ferrites with the general formula Cu1-xCoxEu0.025Fe1.975O4 and Cu1-xCoxEu0.1Fe1.9O4 (in which x= 0, 0.25, 0.50, 0.75, and 1 mol %) using a sol-gel auto-combustion technique. The objective is to give a complete structural investigation of spinel ferrite nanoparticles with more precision characterization employing (XRD, SEM, EDAX, and FTIR), and examine how is Co-substitution .modifies the magnetic prepared Cu1-xCoxEu0.025Fe1.975O4 and Cu1-xCoxEu0.1Fe1.9O4 spinel nano-ferrites by (VSM). To achieve this aim the following tasks were carried out: 1. Synthesizing Co-Cu Eu ion doped spinel nano-ferrites with the formula Cu1-xCoxEuyFe2-yO4 (x= 0, 0.25, 0.50, 0.75 and 1) & (y=0.025 and 0.1) using a sol-gel auto-combustion technique. 2. Identifying the phase composition and crystal structure of the samples using X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis. 3. Analyzing the surface morphology and grain size of the prepared spinel ferrite samples through scanning electron microscopy (SEM). |
