Abstract
Poultry industry has become an important economic activity in many countries. In large-scale rearing facilities, poultry are exposed to stressful condi¬tions, problems related to coccidiosiss. Prevention of coccidiosiss leds to use of anticoccidial as a preventive and treatment. Effect of E tenella, toltrazuril, garlic or neem leaves on clinical signs, mortality and intestinal lesion: All symptoms of illness, highest mortality rate and intestinal lesion observed in broilers suffering from coccidiosiss unm¬e¬dicated chickens were disappear by treatment with toltrazuril, fresh crush garlic or neem leaves extract either alone or together.
Effect of E tenella, toltrazuril, garlic or neem leaves on Oocyst count: Broilers suffering from coccidiosis revealed significant reduction in body weight, weight gain, feed consumption and increase in FCR.
Effect E tenella, toltrazuril, fresh crush garlic or neem leaves extract on blood picture. Broilers infected with E. tenella induce significant decrease in RBCs, Hb, PCV% and MCHC beside insignificant decrease in Platelet coupled with significant increase in MCV, MCH, WBC, lymphocyte, heterophil, eosinophil, basophil, and monocyte.
Effect E tenella, toltrazuril, fresh crush garlic or neem leaves extract on protein picture. Showed insignificant increases in serum total protein beside insignificant increases in serum albumin, α, β, γ, total globulin and A/G ratio .
Effect E tenella, toltrazuril, fresh crush garlic or neem leaves extract on serum nitric oxide, lysozyme, phagocytic% and phagocytic index.
Effect E tenella, toltrazuril, fresh crush garlic or neem leaves extract on fibrinogen and haptoglobin showed significant decrease in fibrinogen and haptoglobin.
Effect E tenella, toltrazuril, fresh crush garlic or neem leaves extract on antioxidant. Our results showed infected broilers with E. tenella revealed significant decrease in serum CAT and increase in MDA all over experimental period post infection.
