Summary
The Style of Performing the Violin Sonata According to Francesco Maria Veracini, Classified (2) No.(1), and the Violin Sonata According to Joseph Haydn No.(8) in the Ladder of Violin and Making Use of Them for Students of the Violin
Introduction:
The Sonata is considered one of the most important forms that highlight the different styles of performance, as well as the capabilities of the violin, which has come to combine the ability to play broad “lyrical”melodies or bright, fast parts that require high technical capabilities, and a light and stable bow. At the same time, it can be performedusing the double and triple notes. A contrapuntal or polyphonic musical texture consisting of several overlapping melodies, in addition to the different performance styles of the right hand, such as the continuous and interrupted performance style, and the left hand, such as trills and other graceful decorations.
The Baroque era is considered one of the most wonderful eras in which music flourished. This era has much that deserves pride and boasting. The Baroque era is the one that paved the way for the masterpieces of classical instrumental music, such as symphonies, sonatas, and concertos, and the understanding and control that musicians gained of the essence of the style of instrumental music, as they realized for the first time, the nature of the difference between the writing style of choir singers and the writing of a musician playing musical instruments.
The Classical Age is considered a natural extension of the Baroque Age, and it is not easyto distinguish between them due to their sharing of many features and general lines of composition. Many musical composers have shined in the Classical Age and have had the greatest credit for humanity’s global musical heritage.
